Roy, known as Sasha here and elsewhere around the net, agreed to speak to me and so, I'm pleased to offer Part 1 of Poet Speaks Out! Roy Sunter, Jr.
Take a look at some of his poetry and photography. In Part 2, we'll be exploring other facets of this fascinating individual. Of course, please feel free to leave comments on the blog.

For me, Part 1 opens just fine, but Part 2 doesn’t.

Just read part 1. Love reading about Sasha's literary influences from long ago. And his first experimentation with slide projectors for photographic displays. I too learned from the slide projector of my father who took thousands of slides and gave shows of them. My first slide collection was of the early unmanned spacecraft that took pictures of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. So we share that love of the mysteries of the universe. Loved your poem about your romance with your coworker. You really explored your emotions well there. I've always thought you were an interesting and creative person and this illustrates that in depth.

Hey, John, thanks for letting me know you've checked out Part 1 - I hardly knew what to say, or rather how to limit what I said - it's just a grab bag of isolated thoughts. Slide projectors, you too, eh? What a royal pain in the ass if you want to insert a slide into (or remove one from) the middle of a sequence! Digital drag-&-drop is so much easier. Searching for the right music can still be a bit tedious - usually involves auditioning one piece after another until you find "The One" - but it's all part of the process. Anyway - glad you found something relatable in that word salad...

Yes, my friend editing a slide show is more involved than doing it digitally. My late Mom discovered a device to scan physical slides into digital images. She took hundreds of our old family slides from my late father's collection and scanned them into digital images.

I just read both parts, about all of the maths, stories, sciences, writings—all the stuffs that went into creating Sasha, who’s not done being influenced, I’d bet.

Thanks, looks interesting - maybe a couple hours' drive. There's one even closer by, less than an hour away, called the Andres Institute for Art. I've posted a video about the place: youtu.be/HCP1ZWa2crI
